It's been an interesting summer but one of firsts:) I planted our first garden! Tons of work but very rewarding. We visited Metropolis, IL for the first time and saw the 15 foot Superman there. Todd and I and boys are in the middle of our first 2 week vacation as a family. I caught the biggest fish EVER last week at Winona Lake, IN...18 inch bass. I was VERY excited and proud. I also got hooked in the chin with a fish hook (for the very first time) as Tristan was casting his line. That was scary and could have been so much worse than it was. No damage done...just a frightened mom and son. I took Andrew tubing for the first time today and Jackson and Tristan experienced that for the first time last week. Tristan tried water skiing for the first time today. Lots more but I will stop with that for now.

At A Party

<img style="float:right; (can't believe that).

Along with moving twice in 9 months, I have also been offered a job at our church to be the "Assistant Middle School Ministry Director". I am nervous but really excited about this job. I will be "discipling" middle school girls and helping to nurture and grow the ministry there. I feel like as an "older" woman who is a wife and mother that i have a lot to offer these girls and the ministry. This is something our family is excited about being part of too.

Todd is also slowing down his school load to take care of more home responsibilities though he will remain a full time student. I will officially begin my new job June 9. Our church is Central Presbyterian Church and it is about 164 years old (no joke). Their website is www.centralpres.com. Those of you who know Clay and Hillary Coffee...it is the church they are at.

So a few weeks ago, Todd and I had our 7th anniversary and realized that in 7 years we just completed our 5th move. No more!

Another thing....for those who are interested, i have been doing a lot of song writing. i have written a lot of music and really want to get it on cd. Just keep your ears opened for more information on that:) It won't be a professional recording or anything. Probably me just sitting down with my guitar, pressing "record" and having at it. But it is something i want to share with you. So be on the lookout!

Blessings to all of you,

Sherdonna (and all the boys)

Connection

I've been avoiding a blogspot for a while. First because of having to take time to sit down, write, and post. "Extra" time to do those things is little. I'm barely on the internet. Second, i hate the exposure and vulnerability of the internet. I post something and anyone can see it...yikes!
